What qualifies me for home care?
Any patient who is unable to get out of the house to get medical or rehab care in an outpatient setting, qualifies for home care services. Everyone requires different hours and needs. Some conditions that make you eligible for home care services include:
– Recent hospitalization
– Physical restrictions (arthritis, muscular weakness, abnormality in gait or falling)
– Chronic medical condition (such as diabetes, heart failure, renal failure, etc)

How are the service costs covered?
Service costs are covered by your long term insurance, such as Medicaid.
Can I pick the services I want?
Of course. You are free to choose the services you think are the most appropriate.
Are your employees insured and bonded?
Yes, you can be sure our employees are fully insured and bonded.
Do I get to pick the person looking after me?
Yes, you are free to choose a caregiver. We offer you a match we think is the most appropriate, but you make a final decision.
What happens if my caregiver gets sick?
If your caregiver is unable to work on a particular day, you are free to pick another one or to cancel the service for that day.
Is service only available in the home?
Although our services are focused on treatment inside a patient’s home, we provide services in other facilities as well.
Are your employees trained?
Yes, all of our employees have the necessary knowledge and experience to work as caregivers. Our Absolute Caregivers agency provides professional training for all employees and we work on their constant improvement
Besides a room and a bed, what do I have to provide for a Live-in Aide?
A room, bed, clean linens, and regular meals are all you need for a Live-in Aide. Everything else is provided by Absolute Caregivers.
Can I change the schedule of my appointments with my caregiver?
Yes – you and your caregiver will be in consistent communication and we will work around your schedule.
What COVID protocols are followed?
All staff is required to wear masks and/or face shields within the patient’s home. Staff members are required to sanitize before and after services. Our team is consistently monitoring the CDC and state guidelines. We are educating our patients and staff about COVID-19 and the precautions they should be taking to protect themselves.
